the Price of Online Banking

I opened a new bank account because I recently enrolled in a new University. So, in order to facilitate the transactions, the university suggests a bank. This bank offers online banking free of charge.

The bank that I registered with has a special student account, where students can subscribe a certain number of services with special rates. Among these services, I subscribed the Online Banking. This is provided completely with no charges. There, we can make almost every operations, except of course, withdraw real money. The web pages are very easy to use and they also implement a security protocol, so that all operations are done with full confidence.

The service includes even a possibility of having all the statements digitalized and not sent home by mail. This way, I can see my statements online, whenever I need them and we even save some paper, which is good for the environment (go green!).

All the operations are easily performed and available in real time. The checks that are issued are digitalized so I can see a full image of it online. Again, this makes the confirmation of checks very easy.

As overall, I would say this is a very good service, because even being free, it really performs well and does it was meant to do.

Some banks offer special conditions for the online banking, so when choosing one bank, this is definitely something to think about.
