the Cost of Side View Mirror Repair

I had broken the rear view mirror of the passenger's side while parking the car. It had hit the gate of my house. So i went to a local garage to get it replaced. I had to pay $40 to get the service. After the service, everything was perfect as before. I didn't get a genuine rear view mirror as that was much costlier.

I was quite satisfied with the service that i received. I got the work done in for a much lesser cost than i had expected. Had i gone to a company authorized or any other high end service station, i would have definitely had to pay at least $100 for the same service. But as i had gone to a local garage, i managed to get the job done in just $40. The work was done in just over an hour.

It is always better to take an appointment before taking your car to a garage. A lot of time is thus saved. Moreover, if cost is a major factor, do not visit a recognized high end service center for minor such jobs. You can get these services from any other place for much lesser cost. However, if any major fault is to be dealt with, do to a company authorized repair center only.
