Description of service
This isn't really a service that I hired. It's more of a service that you aquire while shopping at some stores in Los Angeles. If you look like you're going to buy a fair amount of stuff then a personal shopper that the store has on their payroll will follow you around and help pick out clothes, match outfits and check you out when your ready. I'm pretty sure that they would get you a latte if you asked. The $50 was actually a tip, but it's customary to leave a tip to just about anyone that helps you in LA. I know that they get commission on every item they get me to buy but he did a great job. They even carried out everything to my car.
Review of Service
I was greeted at the door and asked what I was looking for. Then the gentleman went looking for similar items as I was in the dressing room. While I was there he got be a bottle of water since it was a little warm outside that day. Overall it was one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences I have ever had even though I bought way more than I should have. I will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.
Tips
It is customary to tip someone in this situation. How much is up to you but it is generally based on how much you buy and how much they help. I bought a lot and he helped a lot so I gave a nice tip.
