the Price of Tuxedo Rentals

A tuxedo was rented for a wedding for a total of two days. I sent the company my measurements in advance and they had the tuxedo and shoes waiting for me when I arrived. The tuxedo consisted of a tux shirt, bow tie, vest, cufflinks, buttons, pants, jacket, and shoes. I was responsible for picking up and dropping off the tuxedo.

The tuxedo was the right size for me, along with the shirt and shoes. I did not have to wait a long time when I went to pick it up. Although there was only one person working at the store, it was not busy. If there had been a problem, I do not think that they had someone on site to do alterations. The tux was nice, but not stellar. The price, however, seemed quite high - especially for the area. One other person who was with me had some problems with his tux. He had to return the next day - the day of the wedding - to pick up a new one. It would have been more comforting if they had either fixed it that day or offered to drop it off to him, given that the errors were on their end.

Be sure to make sure that the security deposit you put down on the tux is returned to you - either in cash if you left cash or to your credit card if you paid by credit card. This is a common way that rental places overcharge their clients.
