the Cost of Private Elementary School Tuition

We decided to enroll our child in private school last August. This is the price of tuition for one year. The price does not include book fees or uniforms. After and before school care is optional. This is a co-ed school and it serves students from pre-k to 12th grade. The child to teacher ratio for elementary school children is about eighteen to one. The children are offered a variety of extracurricular activities including sports, art, and music lessons. The school has a science lab, a computer lab, and a gym.

We feel like we made the right decision to send our child to this private school. The price is very reasonable and the quality of education is excellent. The teachers are very creative and encourage the children to learn at their own pace. The principal knows all of the children's names (this is a small school, but I am still impressed with this fact!). Many of the teachers have won Rotary and various other awards. The school also offers scholarships and different payment options.

Visit the schools you are considering without your child at first. This gives you a chance to narrow down your options without putting your child through too much stress. When your list is narrowed to three, take your child with you and allow them to have some input as well (if they are old enough). Your child will feel as though they have some say in the matter as well!
