Description of service
This service is for insurnace on my boat. I pay roughly $45 a month for accidental damage to my boat. It pretty much covers everything, except theft. I lock the boat up when it's not in use so I don't see the need for theft coverage. I get this service bundled with my car insurance, which is a nationally known company. I can pay per month, which is $45 a month, or I can get a small discount by paying for it at a year at a time.
Review of Service
The service is great. My insurance company covers my boat, motorcycle, car, truck/van and home. They are very kind to me and are always willing to help out. I have never had the need to use my insurance, so it sometimes feels like I'm paying for nothing, but it does give a peace of mind to know that you are covered if something does indeed happen.
Tips
Shop around and see where you can get the cheapest deal. The boat dealer had a salesman try to sell me boat insurance, and he was quite pushy and expensive too. A one call to my car insurance company and I save about half off what the boat dealer's insurance cost was.
