the Cost of Nose Piercing

I got a nose piercing at Lake George two summers ago. With the cost of piercing, the stud was free and I got one replacement stud for after the original came out.

The service was great. I was very nervous and the piercer really put me at ease. As soon as I walked in, he could tell I was a little nervous and did not try to sell me. He told me that if I was unsure, it was probably better that I wait, as it was a body alteration. I told him I was sure, I was just nervous since I don't like needles. He told me that after I watched him open up the needle sterile packaging, I would not see it again and there was not much to worry about. I decided to go for it and the guy let me bring both my friends to the back. He asked that I watch to make sure he opened everything from sterile packaging so I would be sure and then made sure I was comfortable. It was quick and relatively painless and I still have it today.

Be sure that all the equipment being used is clean and sterile. I am not telling you that you have to go to a doctor's office, but be wary of anyone who won't show you the sterile packaging they just took your needle and stud out of. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Also, make sure you find someone who wants to make sure you want this and is not just interested in selling stuff. This is a body modification and though you could take it out and let it close up, odds are in would leave a scar that you might not want.
