Description of service

Besides just applying the tattoo, the artist cleaned the area where the tattoo was going and double checked that the tattoo would fit in the area and still look like it should.

Review of Service

This was on the boardwalk at the beach, so it was most definitely a tourist booth, but the artist definitely knew what he was doing. No major mistakes or stray lines. He used a stencil, but most places like that do to make it go quicker--otherwise it can take a long time. For the size of this tattoo, I felt the price was worth it, especially considering how touristy the area was I was in. I have gotten much smaller tattoos for the same price, so it was good. This tattoo was also darker than others I have gotten.

Tips

The artist told me to dab a paste made of sugar and lemon juice on the tattoo each day to seal it so it will keep its color longer. I did it, and noticed a definite difference. It lasted a few days longer than I expected and kept its color better. Washing does make a difference too. If the tattoo is in a place where you are able, don't wash the area. Washing will lighten the color of the Henna as well as wash it away quicker.
