Description of service
The $2976 is for 12 hours of graduate level courses and fees for an in-state student per semester. It does not include room and board, books or supplies.
Review of Service
Graduate level programs are generally higher than undergraduate programs. At this particular college, its an extra $35 per credit hour if it is a graduate level course. The required fees for the graduate level, however, are almost $200 less than the undergraduate level.
Tips
If you're wanting to take graduate level courses, you don't have a lot of choice unless you're willing to travel. Schools differ in what courses they offer at the graduate level, and some specializations are difficult to find. If you have to go out of state to continue your graduate level education, expect your tuition and fees to climb outrageously. Some schools, however, will allow students from neighboring states to attend at the in-state tuition rate.
Financial aid is also different at the graduate level, as Pell Grants (the aid you don't have to repay) are not available except for undergraduates. Most graduate students have to max out their loan amounts to make it through school. Some lucky ones get teaching assistant positions which enables them to get either a discounted rate or they get some sort of stipend.
