the Cost of Graduate School Tuition

I have been in graduate school for three years at my school and the one thing that I can't believe is how expensive it is. I am lucky enough to be able to work in a lab which pays for most of the tuition but it would cost $20000 per year if I didn't do this work. The total cost of course would be more like $60000 for three years of school. This included classes, lab equipment, books, food, dorm hall and what ever other various charges a school creates to raise tuition each year. I was luck to finish on time and save a little money. I don't think I could afford another year of this. It's about time to get out in the real world and pay off some of this massive debt.

I feel that I have received a great education from a great college. I even made some friends and had a good time while I was at it. The food got a little boring after a while because it was the same old dorm food that the cafeterias would cycle through every week or two. I did have to work hard, but people don't go to graduate school to party, it's about earning an education that will help down the road.

Look around and think very hard about where you want to go to graduate school. There are lots of ways to pay for school such as scholarships and loans. It will be worth it down the road.
