Description of service
I enrolled in two classes and included in my tuition was access to the school's Blackboard and Sakai environments, as well as web space to create a web site on the school's service. The classes met for 10 weeks and for 6 hours of credit. The school is on the semester system. Books were not included in the tuition, although some software packages were available for a generous discount via the school's bookstore if purchased while enrolled.
Review of Service
I was very pleased with my school experience in the summer of 2006. The programs were fast paced, but the instructors and on staff tutors were regularly available.
Tips
As far as the price goes, naturally I'd rather pay less, but all senior level Universities charge an arm and a leg nowadays, as far as I'm concerned. The program I was enrolled in cost the same, per unit, whether you were enrolled for just one course or several. This is preferable to me, since I support myself and cannot go to school full-time. Nevertheless, I recognize that for traditional college-aged students who are being supported by their parents the opposite type of program, in which you get a per-unit discount if you take more courses per semester, will make more sense. It depends on your situation.
