the Cost of Graduate School Tuition

These costs are for tuition, books, lab fees and special out of classroom travel to pursue a Masters in Anthropology. The costs are for 3 semesters taking a minimum of 4 classes each semester. The costs also include, housing, cost of a computer, transportation, food and clothing. housing costs about $800 a month. This includes heating costs and garbage pickup. Telephone service is also included.

Education is extremely costly. I feel for 3 semesters, $17,000 is excessive. But all graduate courses are specialized and the classes are rather small so it costs more. Usually the professor himself teaches and doesn't use the grad students to teach like they do for undergraduate courses. Taking a full time load for graduate classes is extremely hard and difficult. Not many can do the full time and work also. So they need to be able to fund their graduate years ahead. Whether it be from scholarships, loans, parent or whoever.

Make sure you have the funds available to help the costs. Don't wait till the last minute. Work with the Financial Aid department. Check with your local banks for student loans with guaranteed help from parents. Hopefully, the chosen graduate school will be in your home state. Out of State costs are ridiculous.
