Description of service
In the last year of my masters degree program I was paying $256 per unit. I was going to school full-time taking approximately 12 units every quarter costing me over $3000 per quarter for tuition.
Review of Service
The education that I received was fantastic. I learned more in the 2 years of my masters program than I ever did in my undergraduate program which cost twice as much. The teaching style and philosophy of the professors really fit who I was and after my first quarter of school, although it was expensive, I realized that it was worth it.
My only problem with the cost was that it was a school for people training to be ministers and pastors. Traditionally, ministers and pastors don't make very much money and so to charge them so much to go to a top notch graduate school, with many coming out with significant debt, seemed a bit problematic to me at times. But considering the reputation of the school as being one of the best, the price was probably a fair price to be paid.
Tips
When deciding upon a graduate school, the name of the school is very important. There was one other similar graduate program near where I lived and it was significantly cheaper than the one I attended. But it didn't have the name recognition or reputation in my field and in retrospect, I am glad I paid the extra money for the more prestigious school.
