Description of service
I currently pay $54 per month for my cell phone service provider. It is a nationwide plan which means there are no long distance charges within the United States. The rate is $39.99 per month for the basic service, which includes 1500 anytime minutes per month and unlimited nights (after 9pm) and weekends. There is a $4.99 charge per month , which is optional for text messages. The $4.99 covers 500 text messages per month. In addition I pay an option $9.99 per month for internet service on my cell phone bringing the total to $54.00 per month.
Review of Service
I have done many price reviews of cell phone providers and have determined that this is the best plan for my needs at the best price. Other carriers have similarly priced plans (within $5), however, they either had less minutes available for the same price, or they restricted those minutes to nights and/or weekends with limited daytime minutes. I like the features of this plan which enable me to talk whenever I want and not have to worry about overage charges or long distance charges. The internet feature is not stellar but adequate. It is good if you just want to check email but can't upload websites with lots of graphics or those which enable flash controls.
Tips
Don't necessarily go with the cheapest plan, find one that fits your needs (i.e. allows you to talk when you need to, gives you the features you need). SOmetimes going with the cheapest plan that doesn't meet your needs can subject you to costly overage charges.
