Description of service
Adding 250 additional text messages onto existing post-paid cell phone plan can save you a lot of cash!
Review of Service
I always monitor the price I am paying for services. When I noticed that my cell phone provider raised their price from .02 per text message to .10 per message, I enrolled in a plan that allows 250 text messages per month for $5.00. If you compute the break even point is 50 messages (50 times 10 cents per message = $5.00), you can see that this is really a good value, and it protects you from overage charges. The plan includes video and picture messages also, which some carriers charge .25 cents per message.
Tips
Check your company's website or call the customer service number to evaluate the different text messaging plans they offer.
Monitor each month's usage to be sure you have the right plan. The cell phone carrier usually has additional plans available, like 250, 500, or 1,000 text message plans.
Monitor your usage during the month by contacting customer service, either on your handset, via the web, or by calling. Be sure you know how many messages you have used, and how many you have left before your monthly billing period begins again.
