Description of service
I paid $80 per month for a cell phone plan. I used to pay $60 but kept going over my minutes, so I increased the plan. I got 950 anytime minutes, and 1000 text messages, as well as rollover minutes.
The 950 anytime minutes are $60, the text messages are $7, and the rest is all taxes and fees. Mobile-to-mobile calls are free, but I don't have many friends with the same carrier, so I can't really take advantage of that.
Review of Service
I hardly ever get dropped calls, which is great! The charge for going over the set number of minutes is a lot, which is why I had to change plans.
I send a lot of text messages which is why I got the 1000 text messages.
I haven't had too much experience with the customer service reps. The little experience I have had with the customer service reps has been disappointing, as they seemed to just want to get off the phone with me as soon as possible, which is not what you want from customer service.
Tips
When you choose a cell phone service plan, make sure you know what you are paying for. There are a lot of taxes and fees that add up really quickly. Also, find out how much it will cost if you go over the minutes you have. Another cost that can be surprising is how much it costs to get out of your contract!
Another thing to think about is if you can change your plan up or down in minutes.
