Description of service
My bike is less than a year old, Novarra flat bar road bike, that I purchased used about 6 months ago. It's got a 52" top tube, 700cc tires, and 24 speeds.
Most of my riding is errands around the neighborhood and long weekend adventures, so this commuter bike is perfect.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. The tech was obviously very knowledgeable and experienced.
Because I bought the bike used, and this is my first bike as an adult, I really didn't know what to look for as far as fit goes. It turns out that the one I got is okay, but because my legs are so long, a larger one would have been better. The tech made all the adjustments he could to help the bike fit better, and even made recommendations as to what else I could do, if I found I was having problems and was willing to pay for the upgrades.
Tips
Based on my experience, I would have a similar appointment BEFORE I purchased a bike. If you're someone who rides more than a few miles a week, it can make a huge difference on your body and your conditioning if you have a bike that doesn't fit you properly. Now I know...
