Rear wheel truing of Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheel. this required the use of a specialized spoke tool for mavic wheels and the normal wheel truing stand used for all wheels. The payment was for services, I did not need any parts, only the trained mechanic's skills and his/her tools.

The service was prompt and friendly. I only waited about 5 minutes, which was spent talking to sales people about various bike parts. Afterwards my wheel was perfectly true according to the repair shop's truing stand and my own test by spinning the wheel next to the rear brake caliper while it was almost closed/clamped. There was no random scraping of the wheel on the brake pad like happened before I took it in to be trued. I have no complaints about the work. It was done fast and well. Given the price of the tools needed and the level of experiance needed to true the wheel, I found the price to be fair. Prices in Flagstaff tend to be higher than many other parts of Arizona.

When searching for a bike shop to true your wheel stick to well established shops in areas where biking is popular, since the workers will probably be more knowledgable. Knowing the skill leve of the worker would have been nice before I gave them my wheel. Although, most or all workers at a bike shop should know how to true a wheel.
