I paid 100.00 for a massage therapist to bring her table to my home and give me a one and one half hour therapeutic massage.

The service was great, I had heard about this therapist from a friend who goes to her office (she does massage in an office as well). I called the therapist and made an appointment, she was a little busy so I had to wait a week. The therapist explained over the phone what she would be doing as far as bringing her table and the types of massage she can do, like therapeutic or relaxation, how much space she needed and that she accepted cash only. She arrived on time, set up quickly and did a great job on my muscles. She ended on time, I paid her and she was packed up and gone in just a few minutes.

I would always ask for a referral from friends or family for a massage therapist and especially if they are coming to your home. If you are meeting someone for the first time you might want to have your spouse or a friend present, they can always leave when the session starts. Be sure to ask what payment they accept, I was planning on writing a check before she told me she only takes cash. Make sure you have a space large enough to set the table up and that you won't have any interruptions for the time you are getting the massage. Make sure the room is warm enough.
