Description of service
The service included a one hour outcall massage, plus intake interview and post-massage evaluation. The massage was a combination of deep tissue and swedish, and seved for relaxation and muscle "realignment." It addressed mild soreness, tightness, and a general full body need for relaxation.
Review of Service
The service was high quality. The therapist was professional and pleasant and did a wonderful job. The massage had lasting effects, and I was still feeling looser and less stressed weeks later. It is recommended, by this therapist as well as others, to get a massage at least once a month. The therapist did themself a mis-service by doing such a thorough, long-lasting job! The intake was thorough and addressed my health issues, which there aren't many, as well as what I was requesting and what my expectations were for the visit. The interview afterward discussed how I was feeling post-massage, as well as after treatment, such as drinking water and stretching. There was also some advice given about how to avoid becoming as stressed and tight-muscled as I was at the onset of the appointment.
Tips
It is advisable to find a massage therapist that you are comfortable with, much like you would search for a doctor. Learn about the various qualifications and education pertaining to massage therapy, and determine what the therapist of your choosing has. The most important thing is to feel comfortable with your therapist. They will be touching your body and nothing is more unpleasant that feeling discomfort while someone is giving you a hands-on treatment that is meant for relaxation.
