the Price of a Year of Car Insurance

Have full coverage insurance on my 2001 Chevy Astro. It is provided at a a cost of $1100 per year. It included a 500 deductible on any damage, Liability coverage, and comprehensive. I believe I get a significant discount for being with the same carrier for quite some time.

So far my service has been exceptional. I have never had to file a claim so I can't review that particular department, but I really like their sales staff. They call me each year on my renewal date and lower my premium based on the longer relationship with their company and my sustained driving record. Any time I have had a question or request I have been able to quickly speak with a real person, an have had my needs met.

I think it is worth comparatively shopping at least every other year, just to make sure you are still getting the best rate. If your company dose not do some sort of annual reappraisal of your premium, call on your renewal date and request one. Even if you have made a claim that year, the commitment to a single company over multiple years should carry with it a discount of some sort.
