We have been using this agency for ten years and think they have excellent service. Calling for claims is very easy and they are glad to work with us over the phone (rather than making us meet in person) when we want to make changes in our coverage. We find their rates very reasonable considering we live in a city with lots of driving. Their agents are friendly, and have gone out of the way many times to do things like fax proof of insurance somewhere, renew coverage when we were accidentally a little late paying a bill, send new insurance cards when we lost them, etc.

Try to get your home/rental insurance from the same place as your car insurance because usually then you get a discount for having multiple insurance products from one vendor. Also ask about discounts. Sometimes taking a driving course or going a certain amount of time without accidents will get you a discount in your rate. If you need a special favor, it also doesn't hurt to call and ask. Often they are interested in keeping your business and will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your service.
