the Price of Installation of Home Security

I own a small condo in a small town that I thought was a nice safe area. Only to find out that the area has been going way downhill in recent years. Cars are always being broken into in the parking lot and I have had enough. I finally decided to get a small system set up at my condo. It included a head unit that has a password to arm and disarm the system as well as buttons programmed to call the police, fire, and ambulance if necessary. All my eight windows as well as the front and back door are wired with sensors. A nice little touch was a sensor light on my front and back porch to also scare away criminals. I have yet to need the system, but it's at least piece of mind.

The installer came out one day to give me a quote, which was pretty low, but that's probably because my place is just a small new condo so all the wiring was already there for at least the head unit. We scheduled a date to do the job about a week later he came back and it took maybe half a day to get the system operating properly. On top of this there is a monthly fee of $20 so the company will monitor my place. I think that fee is based on the type of system as well as the size of house. It appears to work great and hopefully I will never need it.

I would recommend a security system for anyone who feels threatened in the area they live. I creates a more comfortable home where there are no worries.
