the Price of Installation of Home Security

After seeing a huge surge of home break ins in our town we decide to install a home security system.The instalation itself was $499,then there is a monthly fee of $36.

Let me give you a quick rindown of what comes with your instalation package.

the first thing is a wireless control panel,it also included 1 touch panel.You can get additional touch panels but there is an extra charge. It also included sensors for all windows and doors,wireless motion detector,key remote,this was helpufl so i didnt have to remeber any codes.

The last 3 things was a sounder for when the alarm was set.Again only comes with 1 but you can add extra at an additional charge.Back up battery and yard signs were also included.

I have to say the company we worked with offered a wide range of protection for our home.I did not like the hard sell they were trying to push at us.If it was up to me I would have gone with one of there less expensive protection packages.They really make you feel like if you dont go with the most expensive package that you really dont want to protect your family.

The repair man was very quick with instalation,around 2 hours total.He did go thru the whole system with us and explain how everything worked.To be honest the booklet they give you explaining everything could be better written.There was a lot of information that can confuse you.

Check around with diffrent companies and see what they cover.Dont feel like you have to get every service that they offer.We fell into there trap and now I have weather alerts that I really could live without.
