I went in to get my stereo repaired. They also do installation and repairs of car stereos, audio systems, and bluetooth capabilities on all makes and models of cars and trucks.
Review of Service
Eesh, do I feel ripped off. The stereo in my car seemed pretty nice, and know it is an expensive system. I thought it would be worth it to have the stereo repaired, rather than replace the one in it. It would have been much less expensive for me to just purchase a new stereo for my car. It wouldn't have been the same brand, but I believe the quality would have been just as good, at least to my ears. I am not exactly an expert at sound systems, and to me they all sound the same for the most part. The service tech, while friendly, was extremely cocky and arrogant. I felt like I was being had the entire time I was there, and wish instead I had gone to one of those stores that does free or inexpensive installation when you purchase one of their stereos.
Tips
Check all options before deciding to repair your existing stereo system. A lot of deals are to be had on car stereos right now, and it may be in your best interest to purchase a new one rather than fix an old one.
