Description of service
I pay 70.00 dollars for basic cable, 12.50 for the rental of my dvr box every month and I pay state and local taxes. This is for my basic cable and for a recording dvr box altogether my total paid at the end of the month is 106.00.
Review of Service
For the price being paid on this service I do not recieve good customer service and it is very frusterating. I have many problems with my dvr box and when it is working my cable is out. Almost half of every month I am without cable. Also when dealing with the customer service reps at this company they tend to be very rude and have no concept of customer service. It often takes me days to weeks to get any help with the problems I am experiencing.
Tips
When selecting a cable company be sure to ask around especiallly to friends and family to find out what type of company you are dealing with. Even though you may pay a few more dollars to go through a better company it is very well worth it. Going throught the bottom dollar company often leaves you with many problems. Also if things aren't taken care of after the first time it is often helpful to ask to speak to a manager. Don't be intimadated.
