the Price of Digital Cable TV with DVR

We had been using just regular cable, and decided to see how much more it would be to switch to upgrade to DVR service. We were surprised that we would be spending less a month due to a promotion that our cable company had going on. The service is wonderful, and since my husband and I are both big tv fans, we don't have to worry about missing anything because we're at the gym, or at work. The box holds a large number of programs - at the moment we have 5 full length movies saved as well as our regular tv shows, and we're only at 46% used. When we ordered it, the cable company came out the next day and installed everything for us. I am really happy with the service, and we have not had one problem with them.

I was surprised when I called to find out that because we hadn't had any recent promotions that we were able to get the DVR service for much less than we were expecting. Call your cable company often to see when you're able to get more for less. The "set series recording" option is wonderful, especially if you're like me and forget when your favorite shows might be on. The best thing is just how easy it is to use, how functional it is, and how even my techno scared husband uses it with ease.
