Description of service
I have basic liability and medical coverage for my motorcycle. This is the minimum required for my state. My coverage is 15/30/10 which means the following: no more than $15,000 would be paid per person for Bodily Injury, no more than $30,000 would be paid per accident for Bodily Injury, no more than $10,000 would be paid per accident for Property Damage.
Review of Service
This was my first motorcycle insurance for many years and they quoted me the best rate despite my lack of experience. Online application was straightforward and better than some others I've seen. Only gripe was that I never received the policy and the application form (which I needed to sign - as applied online). It took several calls to remedy a new form and a cover note. In the meantime they kept sending me computer generated reminders telling me to send back something that I'd told them I'd never received. But sorted in the end. If you have such a problem ensure the telephone operator makes a written note of the problem against your name/policy number on their computer, then its recorded that you informed them of the issue/problem. Despite the problem the operators seemed very helpful and willing to sort it out. As previously mentioned the true test comes when you need to make a claim.
Tips
Check on the price of the insurance before you buy the motorcycle. Ask for higher liability rates. Check the cost on Roadside Assistance.
