Description of service
We recently purchased a yearly policy for a motorcycle we just purchased. The cost of the policy includes liability and collision. This is for a 1995 Harley Davidson - the price rises as the year becomes newer, but there was not too much of a difference until you reached about a year 2000 or newer (I think that was when it finally hit $100), obviously because the bike increases in value.
Review of Service
We haven't had to make a claim, thank goodness, but when we set up the policy, through a smaller local business, we were treated with friendliness only a small town place can provide! It is nice to get treated like that, since I've had bad experiences in the past with insurance companies (who hasn't?). It was refreshing.
Tips
I'm not very familiar with motorcycle insurance, since this is my first experience with owning one, so all I can say is to find an insurer who makes you feel comfortable. Don't let yourself feel pressured, and make sure you know all the aspects of your motorcyle (or car when you do cars) so that you can get the best discount possible. Certain safety features will make your total premium be much less.
