the Cost of Oven Repair

This is the price we recently paid to have our broiler's heating element repaired on our oven. The cost included the part as well as the service call fee. The technician removed the faulty heating element and replaced it with a new one. The repair took about thirty minutes to complete.

This is a very simple repair that we probably could have completed, but hindsight is 20/20! The technician did an excellent job and the repair was very quick. Our heating element burned out after the broiler caught on fire as a result of having it on for too long (my mistake). The heating elements are not that expensive and are very easy to put in, but we were not aware of that at the time. Overall though, the repair was completed quickly and efficiently.

The part apparently can be bought at many service centers and even at certain hardware stores. This will save you money not only on the service call fee, but also on the actual price of the part.
