Description of service
The gas wouldn't work on my stove, I wasn't able to light the oven or the stovetop. I called a repair man. It took him about 5 minutes to complete the 'repair' and I was charged $100.
Review of Service
This was a terrible experience but was mostly my fault. I was a first time homeowner and had only head electric appliances. After a few months I could no longer use the oven or stove top because there was no flame. I called a repair man and told him what the problem was. He couldn't come out for 2 days. When he did come out, it turned out my pilot light was out and it was something I could have done myself if I'd only known. It took him less than 5 minutes. While I should have done some research to see if there was anything I could do, it was clear that he knew exactly what was to be done before he showed up because he just came in and went right to lighting it. I definitely feel like I was ripped off.
Tips
Do your homework! If your oven isn't working, do a quick search on the internet to see if there's a quick fix you can do yourself.
