the Price of a Chemical Peel

I had some brown spots on my face that I wanted to have removed, when I consulted a dermatologist he told me he could apply an acid treatment to burn the top layer of skin off. He said the spot would turn very dark brown and then peel off in about 5 days. He said there would be some minor discomfort but then the spot would be gone. The basic cost for one spot was $79.00 and for every spot over and above that it was an extra $20.00.

The treatment was very fast and only slightly uncomfortable. When the acid was applied to my face there was a slight burning sensation that only lasted a few minutes. When I left the office the spots that were treated were red, but they quickly turned dark brown. In about 3 - 5 days the dark brown spot fell off and the discoloration was completely gone.

I would highly recommend this treatment, the discoloration spots on my face are completely gone. The dermatologist told me to stay out of the sun to ensure they stay gone. I thought the price was very reasonable for the treatment I received, I would definitely do it again.
