After hearing all about chemical peels and I myself aging faster than I would care to, I decided to check them out. I went on the internet and found different facilities in the Portland, Oregon area. I then called them up and found out if they were certified and in what field they were certified. I found a dermatologist who specialized in different skin care treatments. I was informed of all the different kinds available, but still wound up with what I originally wanted, a chemical peel. I made an appointment for a consultation, and it went very well. I was pleased with the doctor and the information he gave me. Two weeks later I went in to have the procedure done. I was shocked to see how red my skin was immediately afterwards, but after about a week, I started to see results. I am happy that I did this and would do it again. I do look much better and younger!

I feel that the service was excellent! The doctor was great as was his assistant. They gave me the correct information before I did it including what would happen afterwards, and they were right on the mark. I wasn't worried because I trusted them and felt that their credentials were great. They were professional and that is so important as there are many out there who are not qualified to do these treatments. It's better to pay more and get treated by a doctor.

I think that what I did was just right. Make sure you check around and find the right doctor. Remember that there are so many unscrupulous people doing this kind of work. Always find out what the price is and what to expect afterwards, so you will not be surprised. This procedure was just the right one for me and I feel a whole lot better about myself!
