Description of service
I had a chemical peel. Your hair is wrapped in a towel to keep it out of the way, then your skin is examined to determine texture etc... The esthitician will first cleanse your face, then several different chemicals are applied to your face. The first treatment is a mild chemical peel and depending on the condition of your skin you may require additional treatments with the chemical peel a little stronger each time. After the chemical ha been on your face the required time it is removed and another neutralizing cream is applied. You are then advised to stay out of he sun as your skin will be extra sensitive, you may also notice some minor burning sensations later but nothing really uncomfortable. If you need more treatments you will be scheduled to come back in approximately six weeks for another treatment.
Review of Service
The service I received was excellent, the office was clean and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The discomfort I expected after the service was bad at all, I didn't even really feel a thing and after a few days my skin felt so soft and smooth. I would recommend this treatment very highly!
Tips
I would look for a licensed Esthetition or board certified Dermatologist for these treatments because these chemicals if not applied properly or left on too long could really burn your skin.
