Description of service
I had a chemical peel done by my dermatologist. My insurance covered part of the cost, so my out of pocket expense was $150. This included the doctor's time, the office visit, the checicals, the aftercare lotions and the follow-up appointment.
Review of Service
A few months ago, I had a chemical peel done by my dermatologists. I was hesitant to do this, but I trust my dermatologist completely and he said it was the best option for me. I had the Alphahydroxy acids (AHAs)formula peel to remove old acne scars, aging spots and wrinkles. Because I was so nervous, my doctor walked me through the entire process before doing anything. He was amazing, and it went through without a hitch. Afterwards, he gave me exact aftercare instructions. He was available via phone when I had a couple questions and pushed up my follow-up appointment when I thought it was necessary. It is a harsh treatment, but it works wonders. My skin has never looked better and I feel and look younger.
Tips
Think carefully before you do this treatment as it is harsh, takes time to heal and has some demanding aftercare instructions. Definitely go to a dermatologist that you trust!
