the Price of Routine Chiropractic Adjustments

It's been a while since I went to the chiropractor, but I called to check and the price is still the same. I had gone in for adjustments due to neck pain.

Each visit included TENS therapy, heat therapy, massage, acupressure, and adjustment for $30.

The office was comfortable and I never had to wait a long time for my visit. The staff was kind and friendly.

I was loosened up by way of heat, TENS therapy, and a nurse applying a massager to the affected area before each adjustment.

While it is better to spread adjustments out over time, I didn't have insurance so my options were limited. The chiropractor told me it was possible to get more done in fewer visits but that it would be more uncomfortable that way. He warned that I would be sore just after a treatment but would feel much better in a day or two.

I appreciated being warned, because I was incredibly sore the day following each adjustment. By each second day, there was noticeable improvement. It helps to know exactly what is being done and what will follow so you know how to care for yourself. I planned each visit accordingly, knowing that I would be sore the following day.

He basically threw in the acupressure treatments free of charge.

Always ask exactly what each treatment entails and what you should expect following treatment.

Ask if there are any special exercises that you can do (once you heal) to help make your body stronger. Exercise may decrease the number of chiropractic adjustments required in the future.
