Description of service
It was my first visit to this particular chiropractor. He examined me, adjusted me, massaged problem areas, and then left me on a heated massage pad for about 20 minutes. The entire process took about an hour.
Also, this particular doc allows you to prepay for adjustments, and the price drops the more you buy, so I think if you pay for 5 sessions up front, they're like $45 each.
Review of Service
The care I received was just wonderful. The chiro was very responsive and did a great job of addressing my specific complaints.
He made several adjustments, some by hand and some using a drop table. He also did a good amount of massage work on some of the more painful areas in my back and neck.
After that, he placed a machine on me that actually uses electric current to warm and relax tense muscles. It felt a little weird at first, but it was so effective. My poor neck was warm and relaxed after about 15 minutes.
Tips
The work was great, and I felt so much better afterwards. I had put off going because my chiropractic care was no longer covered under my insurance, but if I had known it was only going to cost $50, I wouldn't have waited so long!
I used to get regular chiropractic care at a chiropractic school near my home--the prices were dead cheap, though sometimes they were a bit slow because of demos/supervisors/etc. Don't know if all chiropractors are this cheap, but I felt like $50 was a steal.
