Description of service
This was a class through a community college but held on the campus of a four year college (the community college site was under renovation). It was a three unit class and the price was $33 per unit. I think there was a registration fee also, but I am forgetting how much that was.
The class was an advanced conversational Spanish class that met once a week for three hours each session for a semester (16 weeks). We read some basic literature also but it was mostly speaking/listening.
Review of Service
The class was a little too easy for me but really good for practice for me to just get more comfortable with listening to and responding to Spanish. I enjoyed the stories we read and the instructor. I was also glad that the instructor ran the whole class in Spanish, since I have been in classes that were taught in English and it sort of seemed to defeat the purpose of learning Spanish!
Tips
Community colleges are great because they are usually much less expensive than continuing education from a four year university. Make sure that you are taking a class that is the right level for you. Many schools have placement tests so that you can actually test your level.
