Description of service
We had a fairly big wedding. We didn't necessarily go all out, but we made it very nice. The food was the most expensive because it was made by the resort where it was held. The food cost $60 a plate, but it was a nice salad, a good sice cut of filet mignon and vegies. You also got bread. This food was pricy , but it was delicious. It was worth it. The dj was about $1500 and he was very good. He had a vast array of music genres available in different languages also. The photographer was about $2000. He did a great job and we got a nice album with the proofs to pick from. We paid about 1500 for flowers. this price included bouquets for all the girls, boutineers for all the men, flower petals for the aisle, big bouquets for decor, centerpieces for all the tables, and little accents here and there. The dresses were not too pricy. We got them at local dress wharehouse.
Review of Service
In all I think we were about average on the money we spent for the wedding. With weddings youdefinitely get what you pay for. If you want luxury you will have to pay for it. I think all of what we bought was a good price because we were happy with the turnout of everything. The only problem we had was hiring local mariachis to play at cocktail hour that didn't show up. They had a deposit and we even had a contract.
Tips
i think it is very important to make sure of what you want and then set a budget. When purchasing services definitely do your research on the companies though. Check there credentials. Look them up on the better business bureau. Make sure you feel comfortable giving them money before you go and spend it. There are some scams out there so be careful and smart.
