Description of service
After breaking two veneers on my front teeth, I needed have them replaced. Since going with veneers again was not a good choice for me, my dentist decided to use porcelain, lava crowns to replace the old veneers. The price for removing the broken veneers and replacing them with two porcelain, lava crowns was $849.00.
Review of Service
The quality of service from my dentist was excellent. He was very gentle and I did not experience any pain. The only complaint I would have would be about the fact that I had to go back the next day because the crowns were hitting my bottom teeth. The dentist made adjustments and they now feel much better.
Tips
I would tell anyone thinking about having this type of procedure to make sure their dentist has performed many of these procedures and is comfortable working with porcelain, lava crowns. It is difficult to make the porcelain, lava crowns look real, especially on the front teeth, so you definetely want a dentist who has done many of them. And you want to make sure the lab your dentist uses to make the porcelain, lava crowns is reputable and has also made alot of them. I wish I had known how long it would take to get the crowns made, it took almost two weeks and I had to wear temporary crowns that kept falling out.
