Description of service

I contacted a couple printers to see how much a sign that was 4'x8' printed full color on a heavy duty non fading vinyl. It was going to cost about $180 for the sign to be printed but then I also needed to purchase a special metal stand that was an additional $70. The total cost also included a nylong carrying case and it was delivered directly to my business.

Review of Service

There was a bit of jumping back and forth making sure the file I sent the sign company was in the correct specs and format, but that can be expected from most anyone who has never had a sign made before (meaning me.) Once everything was set I simply sent a high res. pdf by email to the printer and they had it made up exactly to my specifications. The sign looked great for my annual CEO meeting. The great thing is that not only is the sign portable, but it can be stored in rolls up with the stand sort of like a projector screen and can be stored in the bag and it takes up no more space than a cardboard tube. What little I communicated with the sign company was very enjoyable and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

Tips

Shopping around could probably save some money, but what really could save about $50 is if I had gone with the cheaper vinyl. It still would have looked great, but it wasn't fade resistant and it could tear and wrinkle a bit more. Unless you're going for a one time use I say go for the higher quality vinyl.
