Description of service
I ordered 3 2x3 full color banners at a small print shop in Chicago, Illinois. The process was very simple. The printer had me download my pre-designed banners onto a website that he uses for customers with large files. I paid a down payment of 50%. Once the printer received the files, he had me approve the appearance of the banners on the computer. The items were done the next day and were just as I had expected. The printer offered a discount for any future projects that I might bring in since I am a virtual assistant that works for many clients.
Review of Service
Awesome service! The turnaround time on the project was better than expected. The printer was willing to do a custom mount at no extra charge.
Tips
If you are able to, design your own banner or sign. Most printers will take just about any file type, but they seem to prefer graphic files like jpeg or tiff files. Designing your own sign or banner will often save on typesetting charges if you are short on money. These fees start around $35 and can increase depending on the type of project. Also, use the best image that you can find. Using a picture with a low dpi can cause pixelation (dotty pics) if your project is bigger than the picture was designed to be.
