Description of service
DJ service for my daughter's wedding for three hours cost $300, or one hundred an hour. The DJ was very professional, he played the type of music we requested, and even mixed it up a little bit. We got a hip hop DJ, so mostly hip hop and R&B was played during the after party. This is exactly what we wanted.
Review of Service
The DJ was good, he was nice to everyone and he did nothing to ruin the day. He played some nice sweet songs to dance to and some get down and boogie songs as well. Some of the younger people would walk up to him and request a song, and he was happy to obliege. My only problem was with the price. I could have saved $300 and gave some kid a $50 bill to sit there and play a list of songs that I made out for him, but this was my daughter's wedding and she wanted everything to be perfect.
Tips
See what's best for you. You can make a list of songs, put them on an MP3 player and plug it into a loudspeaker and you will have a free DJ, or you can pay big bucks to have an actual DJ there that will serve as live entertainment.
