Description of service
This was for cost of rental for the church, also including cost of organist and minister. The breakdown was as follows:
750 site rental
100 minister's payment
100 organist's payment.
Review of Service
I should start out with a warning. Never pick your church because of looks. My father is a minister, but the church where he preaches is full a beautiful people, not beautiful looks. I wanted to get married somewhere more grand and traditional. So I looked online at other churches of our denomination and chose this one. I called and the 4th time got a "wedding coordinator" whom I never spoke to again. We had to choose one of three times offered, and nothing in between. We were informed that part of the process was a mandatory pre-marital counseling. We were fine with that. Finally, after much avoidance on his part, we met with the minister. We were not impressed. HE was mean and rude to everyone involved, especially the photographer. The organist was horrible. We came in with our own organist and minister, and were told that no-one other than their person could use the organ. The organist turned out to be "temporary" and was terrible. We felt we overpaid greatly for poor "service".
Tips
Don't pick a place on looks, and meet with ALL staff before making a decision. Don't settle, and pick a place early. This is your day, make it the best possible.
