Description of service
The price covered one day's rental of a section of picnic grounds at a National Park, with parking lot. I.e. it was closed off to anyone not in the wedding party.
I'd guess they rent the place out for other events, but I didn't think to ask at the time.
Review of Service
So my sister got married. The guy's a schmuck, but aren't they always.
Anyway, it's hard to go wrong with outside in Arizona in May, and we weren't disappointed with the weather. It got cold a bit earlier than we expected, but it was in the high 70s to low 80s most of the day. There was plenty of shade for our Northeastern relatives to hid from the sun in, should they have chosen to do so. Not that I would have held the park service responsible for the weather. That'd just be silly.
The park staff were kind enough to label the signs indicating the turns with balloons and streamers. Or maybe that was one of the other people who helped with the planning. I only ordered up the site.
Tips
If you're going to be outside, expect good weather but plan for bad weather. In Arizona we can plan around the rainy season, which starts in August sometime and goes for a month or so. And also a little in the middle of December.
Either that or elope in Vegas. It's what I did.
