the Cost of Wedding Locations

The price includes the rental of a small beach house, two bedroom and two bath and two acres of beautiful gardens and ocean views, from noon to one in the morning the following morning. The house belongs to a couple and their twenty year old son that lived in the house and took the day out of the house during the wedding hours. We couldn't use any of the bedrooms, we had to use the bathroom to change clothes and do makeup and hair with my maid of honor. We were allowed to use the appliances except the fridge, and we were not allowed to use their utensils or dishes. Everything was held outside so just the prep was done inside. The ceremony and reception after were held outside. The house had plenty of parking, room for fifty plus cars. The catering trailer was even able to fit comfortably on the property.

It definitely was worth the money, although getting ready in such a confined space was a huge hassle. We were able to keep the guests away from the house so no one noticed how small the house was. The view and the area was perfect and it seemed like paradise. We were blessed with great weather and the wedding was perfect from start to finish.

Renting a house can be the better way to go. My wedding at a local resort was going to be at least 3 times as expensive and wouldn't have been the same as the intimate private paradise we were able to find.
