Description of service

In this class, a group of 30 or so customers were all led by one instructor. We all painted the same picture. We all followed along with the instructor as she painted the picture at the front of the class. The price for the 2 1/2 to 3 hour class was $35. This included a large canvas, paint, brushes, palette, and instruction. This price also included sales tax. We were able to keep our painting when we finished. We were also able to choose our own colors.

Review of Service

The class overall was a fun experience. However, I felt that the instructor was lacking. Rather than explain why or how to do a particular aspect of the painting, she simply instructed us to follow along and "imitate" her actions. I feel that the class would have been a more enjoyable experience had she enabled us with basic painting instruction on basic brush strokes and techniques.

Tips

Take some time and check out the art work the particular class or instructor has produced. This will give you an idea as to whether or not the class or instructor is reputable and will teach you something. Make sure you start out in a beginner class if you are new to painting.
