The pedicure at the salon included a foot soak for 10 minutes and a vigorous sugar rub, nail cleaning plus choice of polish. Taxes and gratuities not included in the price.
Review of Service
At first I was a little intimidated with this newly-opened salon. But at the same time, it was inviting and seemed to have a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Since it was near the office, I thought I should treat myself after a long day at work. I also like that the facilities looked sanitary, especially since I worry getting contaminated with a fungal infection.
The staff was courteous, friendly and accommodating. The attendant assisting me was well-trained and careful. The products and polishes used are high-end and I noticed that the equipment like the foot spa and the drying area are top of the line. The magazines provided for customers are varied and fairly new. Compared to the quality of service I received, I think it was an excellent value.
Tips
Nail salons abound in the city, it is just a matter of finding one that fits your needs and budget. I recommend getting manicure and pedicure as a package, as it is usually discounted. A lot of salons also offer a punch card, giving a free nail service for every 6-10 paid services.
