the Cost of an Optometrist

I got a very good eye exam, and the eye drops didn't make my vision all blurry to where I couldn't drive home. The price was for my eye exam, although I bought the frames there also.

Best price in town, Mondays only, call around & you'll find it. I wouldn't name the place of business because I wasn't impressed with the prices or choices of their glasses, even though they "slashed their prices." The optometrist had a one day a week contract, an older guy who'd seen his way around, knew what he was doing. He had a dull attitude & slightly rotten breath when he got close enough, was ignorant of sexual orientations, and appeared suspicious hanging out in the parking lot. None-the-less, he seemed to perk with life when prompted questions about what different things meant. It was a human nature experience.

I wished I had the where-with-all to not purchase my glasses right then. I wished I had left to think about it, or shop around. The business seemed to expect the purchase, but it is never an obligation or part of the eye exam. I got the top of the line glasses, but wished I had simply ordered a pair of good reading glasses. Good guarantee, and I'm supposed to be happy for at least five years with them. So we'll see.
