the Price of Prepaid Gym Memberships

The cost of gym membership is $720.00 for a one year family membership, which includes myself, my husband, and daycare for my three children. At time that I singned up, they were offering a half price registration special. It cost $50.00 for registration fees and $60.00 a month for one year of club membership. I had to sign a one year contract and all fees had to be paid in advance, otherwise there would be additional charges.

The price of my gym membership includes use of all club amenities for one year. Some of the amenities are sauna/steam room, child care, cardio equipment, free weights, and a variety of group exersise classes. I have noticed that other gyms have been offering better prices, but this gym is located within a few miles of my house and they have a great Kid's Club that allows the children to play while I am working out. The only thing that I don't like is that the Kid's Club (day care) has limited hours in the morning. Overall the gym membership is a good value.

Gyms are always offering promotions and specials to attract new members. You may want to check with a few different clubs. Price, location, and amenities are important factors to consider when choosing a gym.
